The advent of ISM has confirmed our view that the quality of a ship’s management is more critical than the age of the ship itself. Unfortunately, it is recognised that the controls in place will continue to target older ships.

Given the importance of a ship’s management we have developed procedures that review the management at the initial pre registration phase and annually thereafter.
