Bareboat Charter Registration is allowed whereby a Barbadian registered ship may be bare boat chartered out for a specific period to another register and fly that registers flag, whilst maintaining its suspended registry within the Barbados Register.
Alternatively, ships may be bare boat chartered into the Barbados flag during that period. In either case, during the period of the bare boat charter the ship will be subject to the laws of the country of the flag.
